Tuck Townhouse
A full refurbishment of a childhood home for a new generation. The project is named after the mature Indian bean tree within the courtyard and focuses on bringing natural light into the core of the house while strengthening connections to its landscape setting.
A new extension and extensive glazing improve the relationship between the house and garden, opening key spaces to views and daylight. At the centre of the scheme, a sculptural spiral staircase set within a glazed link draws light deep into the plan and forms the heart of a new, enlarged entrance hall. The front door was repositioned to align centrally with this space, reinforcing a clear sense of arrival.
